Security at Lite Foundry
Lite Foundry is a pilot platform for supervised cybersecurity education. Use the provided lab environments and keep exercises within the workshop’s authorized scope.
Accounts and permissions
We use federated sign-in rather than local passwords. Account identity is separate from instructor, organization and workshop permissions. An email domain alone does not grant elevated access. Workshop actions and lab ownership are checked on the server.
Protecting your session
Use HTTPS, keep access to your identity provider secure, and sign out on shared devices. Never share a workshop administrator account or include secrets in classroom messages, answers or contact forms.
Report a vulnerability
Email damian.villarreal01@utrgv.edu with the affected URL, a description and safe reproduction steps. Include only the minimum evidence needed and redact credentials and other people’s information. Please avoid disruptive testing, accessing another person’s records or provisioning chargeable resources.
We review reports and coordinate remediation. This page does not establish a paid bounty program, certification or response-time guarantee.
